HowdyChesky usually (always?) has the fronts of the MC being identical to stereo, but this is by far the exception.
As I tried to say before, the stereo and the MC sections of SACDs in general are two separate mixes (most often from the same original elements, but not necessarily.) For example, in a simplistic sense the stereo could come from two mics optimally placed for stereo recording and the MC could come from 5 (or 6) mics optimally placed for a MC recording. The stereo recording mics probably wouldn't placed where the MC front left and front right mics were.
Looking at it a different way there are discs with different numbers of tracks in the MC and the stereo sections so obviously there is no correlation on some tracks :)
I think you are worried about a non-problem. A good stereo mix (recording) captures ambient information about the venue and hence can have the information you are asking about. MC "just" conveys this information in a more direct and obvious way.
