So DSD should be computer friendly as it's recorded as a straight data stream to HD with most of the pro DSD recorders, or to some tape format for backing up, or to a DVD-R disc as does the Tascam R-1000.It's the encryted SACD format that's not computer friendly, and that's on purpose for known 'anti-pirating' commercial reasons.
