New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

Actually that was presented as a fact, not an opinion.

got the essence of my quote, that the vast majority of vinyl devotees are Baby Boomers, from "BillBoard" Magazine (which could be incorrect). But yes I agree, some younger people have also purchased vinyl. In fact one of my teenage sons had a fleeting affection for them and bought 6 albums. He never bought a turntable. And in my line of work I defintely see some new vinyl releases among some younger people. They tend to be DJs where vinyl has always been "cool".

My comments are not in any to disparage or mitigate vinyl or Baby Boomers. We (including yours truly) are 77 million strong in America! And we have more money disposable income than any group in the counrty and maybe the planet. Also, keep in mind that (even though I have little disposable income) I have over a thousand in my vinyl collection and am also on the verge of making a pretty significant turntable purchase.

So, what may appear to be anti-vinyl comments are not that at all. They are instead intended to give another point of view. And yes I do want to support SACD, especially multi-channel SACD, in this SACD forum!
