Home Hi-Rez Highway

New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

your newest crusade

Obviously, you made up your mind that hybrids are flawed. Now your "research" consists of trying to find pieces of information to support the conclusion that you've already reached.

I had a bad hybrid SACD once. I took it back, got one that worked.

It is these kind of reports you read every week.

I had a lot more problems in the LP days with either scratched or warped LPs, brand new. I had to take a fair number back. I've only had to take back 1 hybrid SACD.

As far as people who have problems with most or all hybrids, I still count exactly two.

It doesn't really matter anyway. Whatever you do, whatever "research" you present, whatever email you send, the single layer SACD is not coming back.

So here's what will happen. You will listen for a while to your small set of single layer SACDs. You will get tired of them. You will enjoy your new turntable. You will sell the SACDs.

Then you will try to sell your broken Xindak player. You will find that nobody wants to buy a broken disk player. Maybe you will get $30 for it in its current condition. And with that, you will buy one LP.
