I’m thinking about listening at 7 feet for multi-channel and my normal 8-9 feet for two-channel listening."This was exactly my problem with the 110 degree position, I had to move the speakers closer to get this to work because the room was too "narrow" ; Too close for optimal 2-channel in my room.
I could have rotated the system 90 degrees to put the display on the long wall but this was decidedly non-optimal for HT (yet another compromise for music playback).
