Greetings Inmates,
I normally hang out in the vinyl forum but need some headphone advice. I'm just about to pull the trigger on a pair of Audeze LCD-2s from a local dealer. I've spent months reading up on these cans in various other forums, but since I'm a fellow inmate, I would ask this forum if these are worth the price.
I currently have Grado 325s, Beyer DT880s and Denon AHD-2000s. Source/driver components include VPI/Benz, Denon 3900, LavryDA10, and my beloved Antique Sound Labs head-amp. Having no more upgrade path for speakers due to spatial/spousal constraints, I'm ready to kick it up a huge notch to the LCD-2s.
Musical genres include mostly classical, classic rock, electronic, and DUB.
Anyone using these headphones?
