There simply is no such word as "irregardless" no matter how hard North American's want it to be. The word is simply "regardless."

As for the actual question, there is only one set of DAC's used, so if you really feel "burning" in solid state electronics can help (and if you think it does, then it does by definition - no argument there at all as sound quality is entirely subjective) then no, you don't need to use different media.
