I mean, DVDA isn't passed to the digital out anyhow due to copy protection on any units that don't use proprietary links between their own trannies/DAC/receiver, anyhow.Personally, I don't know how a layperson would confirm this, but I'd be surprised if my $500 Denon DVD 1600 downconverted my Eagles HC 24/192 stereo layer to 24/48 at the analogue outs.
