All I'm saying is that I don't the selling off of SACD to companies who can do justice to it, and record music that is most appropriate for it, (unmolested acoustic), as a *problem.* The people whose emotions are invested in DVDA continue to ignore this branch where SACD has blossomed, and have continued to ignore the fact that dual disc will be CD with video slapped on the back. I imagine it will be successful in a few months, (with a few scattered titles containing DVDA mid- to hi-rez material), and the era of DVDA will be over for awhile. I feel bad for people who have invested in the equipment; these are the people who seem most vocal about making future claims about DVDA that can never be substantiated, then when the future comes, make claims about the future still farther ahead, etc. (read about apocalype addicts), while offering tortured explainations about why they were wrong, ("stealth death of SACD rather than a news flash" is my favorite among precious lines). This is why I suspect all the DVDA PMS'ing is happening at once: the future's here--in weeks, the general public will be holding dualdiscs without DVDA. The rest, as they say, will be history.
