you wouldn't get much of an improvement by placing the WPZ cover in a contractor's outlet :)i have the cryo'd SWO-XXX at the wall & have had NO wallplate for a very long time. i should do something about it, not a priority though.
want a freaky experience? if you use a power strip, unplug all unnecessaries & just leave your amp, preamp & 1 source plugged in...fill in the unused outlets with those plastic child safety outlet covers. It adds just what you previously described...control. I think, just my opinion, that vibration control is a big part of Oyaide's thang & a big part of quality AC delivery.
