I did not hear much of a difference at all at the time. I don't agree with your assertion that the battery is the main reason for the sonic benefits of the regenerator. The conversion of incoming AC to DC and back to steady 120 volts and a 60hz sine wave is what does it. The function of the battery is to back up the AC in the event of a power loss.
