2,200 uF will produce a -3dB roll-off at about 2Hz into 32ohms, other things being equal.So for 'phones you could easily reduce the C to 470uF or less and listen to it.
I don't know what you mean by lagtime and "improved dynamics".
If you are referring to an OUTPUT transformer, this cannot be done easily. The output C is there to block DC (1/2 Vcc ish) which a transformer will not do.
What problem are you trying to solve? Be clear on that first of all.
