...only my CD player is grounded because that's the way it sounds best; i.e. cheater plugs on my amps.The CD player plugs into a dedicated 20amp circuit with a cheater plug and the ground tab on the cheater plug is connected to a copper rod in the ground right outside my music room.
The electrical service for the house is grounded at the outside panel to the gas meter.
