HI,
I just finished cleaning all the pots on my ARC SP-11 preamp. I used Caig Labs Deoxit D5 in a spray can. Works like a charm. No need to remove or replace the pots. Just spray through the lead opening and rotate the shaft fully several times. Zippo, job done.You can buy D5 from MCM Electronics. It's the only contact cleaner that is worth spit. It really works and lasts a long time. I used it professionally in my high end repair shop for years. I'm surprised no one else mentioned D5.
