...rectifier tube be shielded and drained to ground if there is a mesh grounded can around it? I wouldn't want to put it in a solid can, because of cooling and because I want to SEE it, but maybe a grounded mesh can over it would work? And look kinda cool, too, especially if the mesh were gold or chrome plated. I just happen to have this gold plater.....:)
