I don't listen to AM, and most DIY audio amps won't pass RF anyway (through the OPT), so the so-called 'hash' issue and whatnot are generally moot points (IMNSHO), at least for amps. agreed, perhaps noisier in absolute terms than some other types of tube rectifiers but the other advantages outweigh any drawbacks due to that, I think.thanks
