Could you have the '90s production MPD made GEs? As I mentioned below, there have been reports of issues with the very last few years of MPD managed production from the Owensboro plant. IIRC Stu Ono has some experience with those.The earlier GEs I have are simply bulletproof. Maybe 5 duds out of about 600 tubes...
