Why using such mediu m powered triodes (300B), or high powered triodes (845/211) in a preamp. You don't need the output power of them in this application, further they make to much problems there - filaments etc.
Using smaller powered triodes, DHT & IDHT with interstage- / output-transformator makes more sence.Joao
