I am very happy with Audio Experience Concerto MC+ tube/solid state phono preamp. Fet "head-amp" followed by a three stage tube phono preamp with tube regulation. Very nice sound, fast, neutral, dynamic, liquid. This is a Hong-Kong based company that sells over the web. If you don't need the very high gain of the MC+, buy the regular pure tube Concerto at even lower price. You can find them offered on Audiogon, Ebay or go direct to the owner at www.ys-audio.com.
