Be patient; watch ebay, and you will see more than you could EVER need. Although a matter of taste and opinion, I have liked nearly every 12AX7 I have ever tried better than Raytheon/Sylvania/GE/RCA 5751s in almost every application. I personally find that the RCA 5751s aren't all that great, and NO 5751 EVER sounds that great as a phonostage tube in the many systems they have been tried in by myself. They are ok in some C-J gear, tho. This is quite contrary to most folks feelings, but I have tried damn near every 12AX7 variant and CLOSE SUBS (5751 ISN'T REALLY 12AX7)in much gear and have never prefered themover a good 12AX7. Ever.
