Hi
I have an Opera Consonance Ref. 2.2. It has balanced and single-ended outs, but only the single ended goes through the 6H30 output stage. It lists for about $1500 in the US. Used ones show up from time to time in the $800 -$1000 range. Built like a tank and very musical (yes I know that is a cliche term). If you find one for under $1000 it is hard to beat. Will compete favorably with those at twice the price. Apparently Opera has several newer models and I suspect some 2.2's may show up as trade-ins. Nice player IMHO.cheers,
Don
