I think the EH is a little too bright for me on top and doesnt have quite the smoothness top to bottom of the Shuguang tubes. The Shuguang tubes also have more punch in the bass although are not quite as tight and fast as the EH on the bottom. This stuff is so system dependent that I sometimes wonder why I even comment on it. My holy grail tube might sound like junk in your system. Of all the current KT88's I've tried, I really like the Penta KT88sc's. They come close to Genalex IMHO.
