thought 1) What source are you using? If it's your tuner, the problem might not involve the power amp (or preamp).thought 2) If I were you, I'd pull and reseat EVERY tube. Clean the pins (e.g., with DeOxit and a Q-tip) and re-seat. Be sure that, at least the tuner section tubes go back in the exact same sockets (the alignment may suffer if you swap two identical tube types in the tuned circuits) Try 'er again.
