Do you have the Tesla's or Chinese tubes? I've had both on the Mini-Monos, and in my experience, the Tesla's had a little more energy on top. You can get them from Quicksilver for $90.00 a quad. I also ran Tungsram 12ax7, which are much have much more high end extension than the Chinese tube, and still great bass and midrange. I ultimately found them a little bright, but I am very sensitive to this. Maybe the sovtek lps would be nice?
