Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
My new QS Mini Mite Monos are very nice sounding, with an especially warm midrange. Actually, in my room and with my other gear (De Capo speakers, Audire Diffet preamp, Sony SCD-1) I'm finding them to be perhaps a bit too warm in the mids and a bit lacking in upper treble extension. This is evidenced by a slight lack of air on voices, cymbals, horns, etc.I'm wondering if there is a tube option I should consider that will provide a slightly less lush midrange presentation and a bit more top end extension.
Thanks for your input,
Jon
