but I can tell you that I prefer these (just) to Kenrad and Sylvania VT231, Chrome Domes, RCA's and a few others. Yes ... that's in my system but as a reference, in the same system I much prefer CCa Siemens to anything else including Amperex 7308, Mullards etc and WAY better than glassy sounding Sovtec 6922s.The 6H8Cs I mentioned are cheap but they sound smooth and well balanced. Not bloated, yet extended without the typical Sovtec style upper end harshness.
At fist I thought it was just me but a few friends of mine who are also into Audio also unanimously picked the same. Go figure!
