Only buy used, cheap, and from someone with good feedback and reputation. When you find the tube you want then buy NOS from a reputable seller. Sad fact is what tube works best in one amp might not in another. Add in personal taste and you really must audtion to decide.The 6201 is like a mil-spec 12at7. To my ears regular 12at7 tend to be harsh on the highs and thin on the bass.
