hi Andy,6AQ5 in PPP will be very small and lovely! I have collected quite a few of this cheap tubes yet just don't hv the time to build a chasis for the 7 pins tubes. Wonder how it sound vs 6V6.
May be I sud took my HK old tuner a part and use the sockets?best rgds
