with 5K and 15w I'd be looking for triodes. 6CK4 or 6AH4 make excellent outputs - 6CK4 more output, 6AH4 better sound IMHO (I run mine at 380v HT). You have 2a3 and 6B4G - not expensive in Sovtek or Chinese. A very good sound would be 6V6 in PPP in triode - use two pairs. But the best way to do this is 14C5 loctals - $2.50 each or roundabouts. 300-320v HT. A simple circuit is a 6J5GT/12J5GT with 47k anode and 500 cathode resistors, no bypass. DC couple this to a 6SN7/12SN7 with 27k anode resistors and 10k shared cathode in a typical Mullard circuit. I did this with PPP 7C5s and it sounded great.
