I am currently using the SEG6550a which replaced the EI type 111. I loved the ei kt 90 but there is a red plate issue with the one's, I tried the Valve Art Cyro 6550. Tung Sol reissue 6550 and an old pair of GE6550a. The SED 6650c is better than all except the KT 90 it replaced. Hope this helps
