sorry for the misunderstanding. i usually hang out in the vintage asylum because there's a lot posturing on the speaker asylum. such as many judge others here based on what they have not what it sounds like.i've seen many systems with super inneficient speakers like dunlavy floorstanders powered by golden tube audio single ended amps. amps are distorting to high heaven and the guy thinks it sounds good because all the stuff is expensive.
it's all about syngery. there's many ways to make good new audio sound like crap. and a pair of properly fed stacked advents sound like a million bucks.
