This midwestern band's last two albums ("Here's Luck" and "10,000 Years") are amazingly well-recorded (particularly "...Luck": my reference drum sound for auditioning hifi gear!), plus they are very Beatle-esque, w. great songwriting and playing. They are loosely part of the same scene as Aimee Mann and Michael Penn. Criminally ignored IMHO.
