Since I started thrifting for LP's, I've had the opportunity to buy lots of stuff I thought I would like and it ended up sounding so dated. i.e. corny. The Moody's for the most part, I think hold up much better than a lot of music of the day. Sure the lyrics are a bit pretentious, but it reflects the times, and the music is well done for the most part.
I won't be buying the SACD's however. The vinyl is good enough for me.
