This is indeed a live recording. We played two programs that week (4 concerts). The Rite was on all 4. The Bartok and the Mussorgsky each were played twice. Also on the program (but not recorded) was the Bartok 2nd Piano Concerto.Following the last concert on Sunday, there was a 2 hour "patch session" that was used mainly to rerecord quiet moments that were marred by audience coughing. @ hours probably worked out closer to a little over one hour when you account for time spent between the engineer and Salonen, and union-required breaks, etc.
