Sorry, Clarke, but you must be really misinformed. That recording also includes Bartok's Suite from the Miraculous Mandarin and the original Mussorgsky Night on Bald Mountain. I have it on SACD and it really is terrific. Best ever? I don't think that there is any such thing, but the interpretations are excellent and the LA Phil is in great shape. I even think the sound is good (in 2 channel, here).
My opinion only.
