...iTunes has only a few set formats/bitrates to chose from - MP3, AAC, ALL, AIFF and WAV.I suspect you can import just about anything to iTunes, but I've only imported music from my CDs.
If you go to the 'Digital PC Audio' Forum they can answer your specific questions and also direct you to recording/importing software for your PC which is superior to Apple's.
nfortunately, you have to use iTunes to export music to an iPod.
