Might I ask what are your referring to when you say " raw copper iec connectors? " as I've seem quite at few brands of late that mention them offering ones which are copper plated.

As things stand | after spent 4 hours yesterday going through as many forums as I'd find speaking on said matters of AC Male | IEC Female plugs, it seems more and more people are staying to use the so-called " Hybrid " method of combining plugs from two different brands ( or types of plating )on both ends of their PCs | yet it seems the majority of them have chosen to go with Rhodium on the Male side with Gold on the IEC side, as a few of them mentioned that using pure copper instead of Gold sort of offers a reduction in sound, and lacks the bass weight of Gold.

I've also spotted several guys using Cooper AC Male | Rhodium Un-Plated Copper ( of which I need assistance finding these types, as most seem to be so type of mixture these days ) as the IEC Female. Going through what I already have in place, it seems I'm lacking any Gold plated copper or Copper Male plugs | so have to order one of each. Yet my options have narrowed greatly by the offerings of either Xangsane | Monosaudio, as there still seems to be some type of doubt on the ones from Viborg on more than a few sites ( forums ) which causes me too step back and rethink things.

Lastly..., quite a few endusers feel that Silver Plated Copper plugs from both IeGO | CooperColour aren't to be ignored in favor of rhodium plugs, and it reads as if they feel that Rhodium has been pushed upon the buying public, as a not one's only suggestion..., it's becoming somewhat confusing on my end, but I'm definitely determined to get things sorted out, as the Accuphase is certainly here for the long haul.

I should be getting in at least 3 sets of matching plugs this week, it seems for whatever reason, they always get stuck in Chicago for at least 2-4 days just sitting there before they're shipped to Michigan | of which I've never understood the logic for said delays.
