As I seem to recall from awhile back, you didn't like using gold plated AC | IEC connectors as you felt they lacked speed | density | transient attack, correct?.

Yet I'd like to know other than ones option of using some form of rhodium | palladium | platinum | silver plated copper as the AC Male, in tandem with a pure or red copper IEC Female as a means of having the best of both worlds as it relates to attack of notes, yet at the same time a properly balanced and sense of refinement where things don't lean to much in one direction or the other?.

My current line of re-thinking things is by changing out the blades on the Accuphase 40th Anniversary Edition ( cloned ) PC | using either a rhodium or platinum plated copper AC Male to bring about a better top end extension | better layering of detail as far as the highs go..., yet trying to think if by using some form of gold plated copper IEC Female whivh offers the 3-4 layering plated process, like copper based metal underneath > silver plating > palladium > 24kt gold plating, as with say the Monosaudio F101G IEC plug..., might be the ticket, as I ( haven't ) don't see many referring to a of said multiple mixture of said plating, and am thinking in theory at least, should build upon the weakest therefore presently by merely having said plug purely a gold plated copper based design merely offering mid range texture and bass detail, yet lacking in an upper treble detailing capability?, or do I look elsewhere?.

As I'm merely attempting to add a tad bit more top end extension | resolution to this power cord.

I've become more than confident that my choice of the Xangsane sterling silver IC's ( both 9003 | 9001 ) are here to stay, as is their matching silver plated copper variant ( Greg Knight GK-6008Ag ) power cord being used primarily on any of the integrated amps as they're rotated in and out of the main system. But as said Accuphase PC continues to impress with more and more with each passing listening session | I'd love to improve on it even more, yet without having to spent the asking prices for either the CopperColour ( $184 set and cheapest by far ) Viborg ( $581-$600 set ) or Monosaudio ( $500 set ) pure silver power cord connectors.

* Said plugs show above are SonarQuest Platinum plated designs.
