zacster,
I guess in hindsight hearing said detail with the drummer intro rif, you were able to hear what I was trying to point out. And while I personally don't do A | B testing, in so much as have known the sound of my system with every cable or component change, I just base said findings on what I heard via the previous cable off the top of my head, 2-3 tracks especially well recorded ones were all it ever took for me to pay attention to what was happening within said recordings, to cause me to say within..., I'm never going back to this or that cable.
I too love Melody Gardot vocal stylings, yet when I was using a Mac Mini with Audirvana I usually found myself rotating through upsampling rates of 356, 384 | DXD 705, and DSD256, and learned to enjoy each for adding their own flavoring to the mix, and while I'm aware some don't care for DSD, as always I've to base it upon what I hear | feel, so in truth care less what others think of late, once again " I don't look to satisfy anyones ears but my own ".
'Nuff said.
And once again, I've owned usb cables priced between $365-$945, and still say none of them offered me what this cable does at its far cheaper price, so much so they're all gone, while I've mentioned I'm on my fourth version of this usb cable, and don't regret it one bit. I hear | feel what in the system as a grave improvement over what preceded it | then some.
