RE: A worthwhile $40 cable investment

i spent yesterday listening some more, this time to music where it might make a difference. I'll have to say that it all sounded good, but can't say it was better than before. For that I'll need to do some A/B comparisons. Is the decay really better? Is the bass really deeper? Is the soundstage really wider? My system always sounded good to me anyway.

I just wish I had an easy way to A/B this without swapping the cables, which may also require a restart of the software involved. My DAC only has 1 USB input.
