A worthwhile $40 cable investment

I just installed the Chinese knockoff Odin USB cable into my system and so far so good. I'm just playing a Qobuz hi-res 1982 playlist at the moment so no critical listening yet. Bass seems better defined, can't say much else though. As it turns out both my wife and daughter decided to work from home today when neither was supposed to be here. I'll wait until tomorrow and try some A/B comparisons, as best I can, with more suitable music. Van Halen isn't the best music to use. Foreigner just came on.
