...remove woofers, then remove the L-pads. The green corrosion inside of them will pop your eyeballs out. A multi-meter will tell you if each driver is good or not.

You will probably have to take L-pads apart which is possible to carefully do and will take some time. You can also replace them with modern ones. All of this includes checking screw bite around each driver etc. Buy some caulking material or silicone to put it all back together when you're done with everything, and I mean Everything.

Might as well check over or replace caps, check solder connections etc.

So get out the tools and put speakers on the bench. Good luck and report back here on progress
