By the way when you get the mids and tweeters working the mid points on the potentiometers are actually not flat. The mid is down from the woofer and the tweeter is further down from the mid dome. Acoustic Research was concerned with what they felt was poor upper mids and highs and the potentiometers were set low to mitigate this. I believe(very old recall) that the mids and tweeters are flat at max settings.
