Recently the bulbs started flickering at the meters, now it's approaching the radio dial. Also the right volume control peters out when played at very low levels. I took it apart and shot a generous amount of detoxit on it (the pot) to no avail.

I found a local guy (surprisingly there'squite a few here in the San Diego area) who will accept it tomorrow after I get off work.

Says he can change out the caps, clean the inside, change the bulbs, look at the pots, clean them, etc., all for a very reasonable price.

He says it'll take a couple days to order the parts, I told him no problem, I'm taking vacation and flying back East for 10 days and to take his time.

I'm going to remove the wood case and put the original metal back on it before I take it over though!

Will report back after the work is done!
