Recommend some new RCA cables for my Philips 312!

I want to upgrade the captive RCA cables on my Philips 312. I'm assuming that new cables might give me some benefits. I don't want to damage the plinth by soldering in female RCA jacks, so I'm looking at this as a one-time thing, and I don't want to break the bank. Can anyone recommend something that you think would be a good match for this table? Anybody have any experience doing this kind of upgrade on a 212 or 312?
