how did you do it? do you use the same chasis still? >Yes - the standard Leak chassis. The chokes go under the mains transformer. I put some chunky legs on it to raise it up a bit to give room for the chokes, but everything went in fine. All PSU caps are radial and underneath. I needed all the sockets on top for the 12 valves. The only thing I'm still thinking of doing to it is putting CCSs under the output tubes. The 6S4a is a fine triode - cheap too. It can take up to 500 volts on the anode, so running them fixed bias at 380v in the Leak works well. Triodes are the way to go, and if you double them up in parallel you get reasonable output.
