- 3 dB at 5 HZ, another was at 1/2 a hertz, and another was at 1/4 a hertz. The 1/4 hertz preamp "ATE" all the others>>Jeff - that's fascinating. But would all this be completely lost on a speaker system that rolled off from 32hz down - not untypical? Or would the correctness of the phase response still have an effect? Any idea what exactly those extra low frequencies are adding to the sound?
