It's hard to be misinformed when you bought the product and spent extensive time listening to it. As I said in my post this is just my opinion and other people may feel differently. I actually have spent extensive time listening to all of the types mentioned, at least 3-4 weeks each with lots of listening time. If you have tried transformers other than the Lundahls and think they are the best it is certainly your perogative, please don't say that I'm "misinformed". Lots of people like the Lundahls I just think there are better trannies out there. Compared to the others mentioned they are slow and "smeared" even if the effect is subtle. There are probably effects of interaction with other components in play as well which is why I stated how I used them.Just as a matter of interest I had the transformers set up so I could easily switch from one to another, several people had a listen and generally agreed with me. Strangely the Lundahls and Jensens were tossed out of the running fairly quickly. I wonder how many people have run such a comparison. Before everybody starts to flame me - I'm sure it's system dependent so you'll have to make your own decision. Try some of the others out before you decide which is best though.
