Interesting idea Dave. That plus the series tank would make a form of what's called a Cauer filter, if my memory serves me. It's all the interactions outside the resonant frequencies that get tough of course. And then the tube circuit itself "sees" an inductive impedance from the PS that, of course, rises across the audio band, unless you add an RC PS final filter. Regulation has a lot to recommend it...
