Maybe this question's a bit off-topic but, ...On the subject of grid chokes, .... would using a phase splitting autoformer offer the mentioned advantages of grid chokes while also phase splitting? They aren't very expensive (though not dirt cheap either). I have a set from electraprint which I intend to use
